Anatomy of the Deal:
The New Britain Costco Wholesale Store
Wednesday, May 4, 2016

MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS WELCOME

Join CREW CT 2016 Professional Development Committee for our presentation of The Anatomy of the Deal - The New Britain Costco Wholesale Store. This unique program will include a store tour, panel discussion by key players in the development, and a cocktail reception. The behind-the-scenes tour will include an overview of operations, merchandise and warehouse logistics. See how Costco keeps costs down and is able to pass the savings onto its members. Then join us for our panel discussion and networking reception at the beautiful Whinstone Tavern immediately adjacent to the store on the Stanley Golf Course. Hear how four years of strategy, planning, permit applications and complex land acquisition negotiations successfully laid the groundwork for Costco’s coming to New Britain and how they have become a real community partner with the City.
