In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary, CREW CT is excited to announce its final program of 2017. Please join us for an in-depth discussion with some of our founding, “legacy” members about their personal journeys and how CREW helped them along the way, what advice they have for the newer members of CREW, and what they envision for the CREW of the future. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail-style networking reception while meeting CREW members, old and new! This is not an event to be missed.

Our Presenters:

Maura Cochran, CRE, SIOR joined Bartram & Cochran, a national real estate consulting and brokerage firm based in Hartford, CT, in 1987. She works with institutions, corporations, municipalities, lawyers, developers, investors, not-for-profits and families to maximize the value of their real estate assets. Underwriting, evaluating and mitigating against risk and the adaptive reuse of functionally obsolete properties are her specialties. Her practice is relationship-oriented and her trademark is her commitment to long-term, problem solving partnerships with clients. Ms. Cochran’s active involvement with the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and CREW CT gives her excellent access to market information locally and nationwide. Ms. Cochran also serves on several local Boards, including as 2016-2018 chair of the Greater Hartford YMCA. Ms. Cochran holds a B.F.A. in Environmental Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a licensed broker in Connecticut.

Elizabeth Gianesello Judd, RPA is President of Konover Commercial Corporation, acting as an asset manager and owner representative for all owned and third-party properties and overseeing a portfolio of 4.0 million square feet of office, retail and industrial real estate. Prior to joining Konover, Ms. Judd developed and had direct oversight for all of Cushman & Wakefield’s third party fee-management commercial real estate business in Greater Hartford. She also served as the head of the Connecticut office of Koll Real Estate Services (subsequently purchased by CBRE). Ms. Judd has been active in leadership positions including serving as the past president of CREW CT, in addition to holding several CREW CT Committee Chair positions. She earned her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, received the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMI, and holds real estate broker licenses in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Pamela Torsiello, CPA, CRE is an Asset Manager for Chestnut Realty Management, LLC in Springfield, MA and serves as their CFO. Ms. Torsiello counsels developers and owners through all stages of the ownership process providing financial, real estate and development expertise. Ms. Torsiello began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving the firm’s Real Estate and Construction practice. She graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Economics and earned a Master’s in Public Accounting from the University of Hartford in the Accelerated Program. Ms. Torsiello has earned the designation of Counselor of Real Estate and has served with the Consulting Corp for the Counselors. She is also a Past President of CREW CT, and has served CREW in various capacities over the years, including as CREW CT’s National Delegate, CREW National's Nominating Committee member and in various other capacities as a CREW CT board member.

Our Moderator

Beth Ann Harney, CSM has diverse experience spanning a 35-year career in business and real estate. Prior to moving to a consulting role in 2017, Ms. Harney managed both the asset and property management functions at Hutensky Capital Partners, a retail real estate opportunity fund based in Hartford, CT. As an asset manager, she coordinated leasing, redevelopment, and disposition personnel for a $200 million portfolio, and completed valuation and feasibility analyses for properties nationwide. Prior to her work with Hutensky, Ms. Harney was an asset manager for Citicorp Investments in New York City, responsible for the real estate portions of international client portfolios. She and her husband were also partners in Whitehawk Construction Services, at one time the largest union installer of finish carpentry and high-end millwork in New England. Ms. Harney holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, is a Certified Shopping Center Manager with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a former President of CREW CT.
