As they greeted one of the largest crowds ever to this year’s Blue Ribbon awards on April 24th, event co-chairs Jennifer Marks and Melissa Roy noted that “We were honored to receive over 30 nominations for real estate projects from throughout the region and to include two new categories, Deal of the Year and Best Building Repositioning.” We were pleased to welcome CREW Global Immediate Past President Tara Piurko of Toronto, who gave a lively update on the value of CREW membership. The Judges Panel included Courtney Hendricson, Vice President of Municipal Services for the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC), Patrick McMahon, CEO, Connecticut Main Street Center, and Rebecca Nolan, Vice President of Global Business Development for the MetroHartford Alliance. Emcee for the evening’s festivities was Jamie Bratt, Engagement Manager at Infosys and former City of Hartford Director of Planning and Development.
